About Bang — Why Bang?

The “Why” Part First…..

In addition to the on/off switch folks talk about, there seems to be a third gear that some dogs have, called “Joy”. When Rosie sees the training cap and jacket go on in close range of the bumper closet, she turns into some combination of Snoopy gleefully kicking up his heels, and the Tazmanian Devil in his classic spin. And then we go outside and the transition from “Joy” to work-horse “On”, happens instantly with one “Heel up Sweetie”. The high drive and strong desire to please that we are seeing from Rosie’s first two litters, is exceptional.

Bang has been amateur trained by his owner/best friend, and it would be hard to imagine a day when he didn’t think to himself…..“what cool stuff are we going to do today”? Perpetual “Joy”, coupled with an amazing pedigree and a very impressive set of accomplishments, are why we are so excited about the pups that this handsome champion will produce with Rosie!

Lastly, we are seeing/hearing about these same pups also taking great “joy” in their “Off” position on the couches and laps of their owners.

Both of the sires of Rosie’s previous two litters were owner/best-friend-trained, and able to ask the same “what cool stuff are we going to do today”, question. Their “Joy” has shown through in the offspring we are now seeing, and we hope to find this same inherent “Joy” in the pups from this Bang and Rosie breeding.
